- Just spoke to Canon who said that Apple has been taking care of Canon printer drivers themselves and suggests that Apple is responsible for creating the 64-bit support for Canon products and including it in mac OS10.15 Catalina. I am hoping to hear from someone who has upgraded to Catalina and successfully printed with a Pixma TS6220.
- Is anyone able to install a generic printer driver for old Canon printers? I have an old MP140 for which Canon is no longer updating drivers. My Mac doesn't automatically find any drivers so I'm stuck trying to add the printer without any drivers - which my Mac keeps me from doing by graying out the Add button: I'm hoping to find a way to get.

I've just downloaded Canon UFR II Printer Driver v2.43 for Macintosh Mac OS X 10.5.8 to 10.8.x from the Canon Global download centre to install on my recently acquired MacBook and after download up pops a dialogue box saying 'The following disk images couldnt be opened.'
